The Women's ministries are dedicated to empowering women through Bible study rooted in the Word. They prioritize discipleship, education, and community-building within The River, with a strong emphasis on Christ-centered foundations. You will enjoy their study sessions, worship gatherings, and weekend excursions. You will hear regular announcements to know just what’s happening and how to take part.
Engaging in women's small groups, participating in the Fall Women's Weekend, and attending the highly anticipated Annual Galentine's Party are ways to connect with fellow women and forge lasting relationships.
The men at The River stand out for their commitment to nurturing a sense of community and friendship during a time where men are otherwise often discouraged from seeking support from others. Men’s events are casual gatherings usually centered around shared meals, reflecting the community's laid-back camaraderie. Noteworthy events include Saturday Morning Prayer Breakfasts, the festive "Strangest Things" Gift Exchange during Christmas, and "ManCamp" held annually in fall. ManCamp offers three exhilarating days filled with activities such as ziplining, axe throwing, fishing, and archery tag, interspersed with moments of worship and prayer that leave a lasting impact.
